Tell me, what’s your favourite colour? Blue like the sky or the depths of your sadness? Red like fire or the passion running through your veins? Yellow like the sun or the never ending cautious steps? I first became interested in symbolism after reading “The Gravesavers” by Sherrie Fitch. The line about a blue heart and a white heart captured my attention and it became my reference point whenever I thought of colours and their meaning. It was the seed that began to grow into a forest of appreciation for symbolism, metaphors and concepts of all shapes and colours.
